Fregola (or Fregula) is a typical pasta shape from Sardinia, in this combination with porcini mushrooms we have found the best expression of all its characteristics and consistency. An original dish also appreciated by refined and refined palates.

Everything you need to prepare a true chef's dish is already in the package, just follow the simple instructions and add your personal touch to put an exquisite first course on the table.

PREPARATION : in a non-stick pan or saucepan, bring 700 ml of water and 2 or more tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil to the boil.
Pour the contents of the bag, cover and cook on medium-low heat for 14 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add more water if necessary. Remove the lid and continue to cook for 2 minutes or more UNTIL THE WATER IS ALMOST COMPLETELY ABSORBED AND THE SAUCE CREAMY. Season with salt, add EVO oil and let rest 1 minute before serving.

TIPS : Add 1/4 cup white wine to the boiling water. Add a crumbled sausage and a handful of walnuts during cooking.

WINE PAIRING : Sangiovese di Romagna DOC or light red wines.
