Fregola (or Fregula) pasta and its very particular consistency perfectly match the ingredients of this recipe with an exotic but delicate flavour. Also perfect for eating cold or as a single dish with the addition of morsels of meat.
This 100 % natural ready-to-cook first course is prepared with original artisanal french pasta from Sardinia, vegetables , curry and raisins and is already ready to cook . The pasta is already mixed with the seasoning so just pour the contents of the package into a single pot with boiling water and follow 3 easy steps indicated on the label . The result is a tasty and delicate first course , perfect for a family lunch or dinner.
PREPARATION : in a non-stick pan or saucepan, bring 750ml of water and 2 or more tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil to the boil.
Pour the contents of the bag, cover and cook on medium-low heat for 14 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add more water if necessary. Remove the lid and continue to cook for 2 minutes or more UNTIL THE WATER IS ALMOST COMPLETELY ABSORBED AND THE SAUCE CREAMY. Season with salt, add EVO oil and let rest 1 minute before serving.
TIPS : Add 1/4 cup white wine to the boiling water. During cooking, add 80 grams of minced pork or chicken breast into pieces.
